  • TypeScript on Node 24.x, pinned via engines and .nvmrc.
  • discord.js 14.x for the Discord client, commands, and components.
  • @opencode-ai/sdk (exact-pinned) for the OpenCode server client.
  • node:sqlite for the projects/threads database.
  • Docker Sandboxes (sbx) for the per-project microVM.
  • OpenCode as the agent server inside each sandbox.

Tooling

  • vitest for tests, tsx for development, tsc for the build.

  • Mintlify for this documentation site.
See Architecture for how these fit together and the module map for where each concern lives.

Credits and inspiration

Celly is inspired by remorses/kimaki (MIT). Celly reimplements Kimaki’s core idea — channels as projects, threads as sessions — and runs each project in an sbx sandbox instead of a local process. Built on Docker Sandboxes (sbx) and OpenCode. Celly’s own code is MIT; see LICENSE.
